Starting from 2026, Autodesk doesn’t deploy the apprentice server anymore when installing Inventor.
This makes mandatory the manual installation of the server.

1. Look for Inventor Apprentice Server in the Autodesk online site:
   
2. Once downloaded, start the installer and follow the instructions
   
3. After the installation has been completed, a new application “Autodesk Inventor Apprentice Server 2026” will be recorded
   

4. To register the Inventor Apprentice Server 2026, just open the command prompt and run the following command:

   <Installation_Path_Of_Updated_Inventor_ Apprentice_Server>\Bin\ApprenticeRegSvr.exe /install

   e.g. for a default installation the path of the 2026 Apprentice Server registrar is located in
   

   C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor Apprentice Server 2026\Bin\ApprenticeRegSvr.exe
